The ancient ruins lay higher up the trail in deep foliage. Ancient Sarin humanoids built it. Thousands of years, in the mists. The bubbling brook alerted Terra to the fact that she was closer to the city Mists....
Early dawn breaking over Mists.... elaborate clouds the energy of the Planet Sarin, always present at Mists, however; they were the most colorful and dancing swirling patterns at the site everyday at sunrise.
Terra stopped to take holovide, the enchanting city lay before her. She proceeded to the hall of knowledge which still held remnants of ancient holo scrolls. Long ago abandoned by its creator's, for the lush fertile lowlands, Mists was used for sacred gatherings and knowledge seekers, the teachers Sehgal s were the only inhabitants there until an unknown factor , made even the teachers depart Mists.
Starfleet Archeologist s, Geological , Vulcanologists were currently working with the local Sarin Native professionals, to uncover more of Sarin planet and the sectors past.
Terra, was on a mission to check certain parameters at Mists and add the data to the vast banks of information at Starfleet's Sarin Colony. She pulled her water bag off her shoulder and started sipping .... hearing a crackle in the trees, she turned to see local wildlife, a large red billed song bird with golden feathers topping the crown. She took holovide of the avian as it meandered through the ancient gardens of shstsal.... drinking from an ancient fountain before taking flight.
Terra sat down to add to her log journal.
Sarin Mists research....
Today is a long Sarstice day for the planet, Sar beams longer in today's skies before nightfall, and the Mists are spectacular on these days. I took readings at the Winter Sarstice a few months ago, and the data is extremely helpful . Now, I gather more data on the longest day and I am not alone for in the misty fog rising up to meet Sar, the energy force that is Sarin....
She closed her log and made her way into the hall of knowledge...
End part one.
